The Distress of Sleepless Hours

We long for an/a/some escape, a place/safety/shelter where the pain/suffering/anguish can fade/disappear/evaporate, but often/always/sometimes the darkness persists/holds tight/remains. It's in these moments of isolation that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the powerful spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

An Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia often feels like heavy weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, yearning for sleep to come. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity ridden anxieties and frustration. This lingering state of wakefulness transforms you into a prisoner in your own bed.

Aching for Sweet Oblivion

The grip of oblivion was a siren's call, a searing promise of rest. To succumb in its depths was to still the incessant cacophony of existence. The life's sharp edges faded under the spell of its sweetness.

To truly long oblivion was to ache for a fleeting respite from the weight of being.
